There was a time when I would obsessively spend my nights looking at war photographs. Then a time where I told myself I would never forget what that time was like. Nearly two years he has been back and I find myself forgetting about those excruciatingly long 10 months – and about all the boys who have lived in this time since then. Thank you, Peter van Agtmael for reminding me.
